Built on our popular 1-hr HEART RATE MONITORED classes, we've designed a customized 6-WEEK KICK-START CHALLENGE of 18...YES... 18... high-intensity, functional training classes focusing on ALIGNMENT and MOBILITY. All designed to BURN CALORIES, challenge your limits, get you stronger and improve your cardio endurance.

What are Good Burn Heart Rate Monitor Classes?
We use lots of different training techniques to get you optimal results, but our GOOD BURN classes focus mainly on (H.I.I.T) High Intensity Interval Training. H.I.I.T. uses short burst of maximum effort with set rest periods. Focusing on functional body-weight movements leaner, faster, more agile, increase fitness levels, cardiovascular levels and prevent/eliminate injuries.
Our Heart Rate monitored GOOD BURN classes are backed by the science of (EPOC); which stands for Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC). This method of training helps to keep your heart rate at a target zone. This increases your metabolism and gives the most calorie burn; allowing you to burn calories for upto 36 hours post workout.

Will the NUTRITION GUIDE include meals for everyday of the challenge?
Lots of plans provide a daily menu for people to follow and tell them "WHAT TO EAT". While this makes it easier for them over the course of the program, it doesn't actually teach you "HOW TO EAT" once the plan is over.
There will not be different meals for EVERYDAY, but there will be enough to get you started the first few weeks and use as a base in your existing diet. The goal of our NUTRITION GUIDE is to demystify common Nutrition Myths and create a mindset and lifestyle change to help you to lose fat, gain muscle and maintain a healthy lifestyle without restrictive diets.
To help you plan and organize your meals, you will get:

Do I have to participate in the nutrition portion of the challenge?
We recommend participation for best results, but if you have significant dietary restrictions or other concerns you should still complete the challenge. You may not see as significant results if you followed the nutrition suggestions presented in the Nutrition Guide but you will still BENEFIT GREATLY from taking the classes and learning the fitness and lifestyle tips presented in the challenge.
Does this allow for nutritional coaching/advice as well?
We are not Nutritionalist and can not prescribe EXACT eating plans, However, we will provide you with all the tools you need to make healthy eating an easy part of your lifestyle based on years of experience helping people reach their goals. If you are aware of any dietary requirements you may have due to an existing condition or illness you MUST consult your Doctor or nutritionist prior to undertaking the plan.
Do I have to buy a heart rate monitor?
No. While most facilities that run heart rate monitored classes require you to purchase one of their heart rate monitors, we provide clean, sterilized, loaner WRIST MONITORS.
Can I use my own heart rate monitor?
Yes. Our system is compatible with the following monitors: Garmin, Mio, MyZone, Polar, Scosche, Wahoo. If you you do not see you device, let us know.
I have never worked out before. Is this program too intense for me?
We were ALL BEGINNERS at one time. Therefore we have created a program with a BEGINNER FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. You are not in competition with anyone but yourself. The most important thing is that you are there and working hard to reach and reach YOUR fitness goals. All exercises and protocols can be modified up or down to meet your fitness level.
NO JUDGEMENT! If you need to hop out a station or 2 to take a breathe, we would rather you do that than push yourself so hard you cause injury. The few weeks will be challenging, but you CAN do it; right along side a small group of people going through the same thing you are.
$249 IS A GREAT DEAL, but why shouldn't I do one of those "FREE - Transformation" challenges I keep seeing instead?
Many of those challenges are only free at the end if you lose 20 lbs+, eat an EXTREMELY RESTRICTIVE diet, , fast a week before weight in and deprive yourselves of water the last few days to "make weight". Even if you follow all their rules and lose 19.7lbs...YOU PAY. This is NOT a healthy LONG-TERM way to look at fitness.
Our program is not only a HEALTHIER & SAFER way to train, but you will learn FUNDAMENTAL techniques and lifestyle skills that you will use long after you complete the Challenge. Making our challenge a TRUE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
EveryBODY is different and the resuts you reseivce will depend on where you are in your fitness journey. The more fat you have to burn the more fat you will lose.
With that said, This is NOT a " Crash Diet " or "Biggest Loser" challenge. The results you are get with our challenge will be done in a way you will be able to MAINTAIN YOUR RESULTS.
While body fat lose is important, so is MUSCLE GAIN. We recommend a fat loss of 1-2 lbs per week. This will ensure you are losing fat and not taking out muscle you've worked so hard for.
Do you offer make-up classes?
A major part of the program is ACCOUNTABILITY. There will be a point when you will need to rely on your challenge members and they on you, so we ask that you please do your best to MAKE EACH SESSION.
However, we understand LIFE HAPPENS. Therefore members can make up a maximum of 3 missed sessions over the 90 days by attending another session the day before or after the missed session; IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
Can I switch between sessions?
It is IMPORTANT to pick one class session and stick with that group. “Mixing & Matching” of class times is not allowed. We do however understand that life sometimes gets in the way. That's why we allow for up to 3 missed classes over the 6-week Challenge.

How are winners chosen?
Winners will be those participants that earns the most points. There are 4 ways to earn points.
Chance #1) Body Fat % DECREASE:
1 point per percentage lost; rounded to the nearest tenth of a decimal. For example: 1.6% is 1.6 points
Chance #2) Muscle Mass % GAINED:
1 point per percentage gained; rounded to the nearest tenth of a decimal. For example: 1.6% is 1.6 points
Chance #3) Total Pounds Lost:
1 point per pound lost
Chance #4) Class Reward Points
* Earn 100 points per class
* Earn points per minute based on how long you stay in certain Heart Rate Level Zones during each Good Burn Class. (See table below)
Zones by Max Heart Rate Exertion Level
- Zone 5 = Maximum (90-100%) = 4 points
- Zone 4 = Hard (80 - 90%)= 3 points
- Zone 3 = Moderate (70 - 80%)= 2 points
- Zone 2 = Light (60 - 70%)= 1 point
- Zone 1 = Very Light (50 - 60%)= 0 points
Are there ANY REQUIREMENTS?
- All fitness levels welcome. Exercises and protocols for the entire challenge will be taught and performed the first week during the DEMO CLASSES.
- Be ready to WORK HARD**
- Commit to the ENTIRE program. - In order to get the most benefits from the program it's important you attend all the class session, eat clean and drink lots of water.
- Set realistic expectations
- Track Your Progress - It is difficult for you to see your progress day to day and over the course of the challenge may find yourself tired, sore and plain discouraged. Those are the times when it's easy to forget how far you've come.
- Check all egos at the door - Everyone is on their own fitness journey and has their own set of goals . Don't worry about the person next to you.
- Patience is KEY - This is not a This is not a crash diet or a “biggest loser” challenge. You will put in a lot of work and we will work to help you attain your goals. It's about PROGRESS NOT POUNDS. Patience will keep the momentum going and embrace fitness as a way of lifelong goal.

Do I have to have lots of FITNESS EXPERIENCE?
All fitness levels welcome. You just need to have a willingness to push yourself past your limits.
All exercises and protocols can be modified UP or DOWN to match your fitness level.
Exercises and protocols for the entire challenge will be taught and performed the first week during the DEMO CLASSES.
Do I have to attend the first week of DEMO CLASSES?
It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT you attend the first week of DEMO CLASSES. This week is when we will review our review the program, training procedures, philosophy and go over modifications.
Since this program is suitable for all fitness levels, all exercises and protocols can be modified UP or DOWN to match your fitness level. These modifications whether they be UP or DOWN, will be taught during the DEMO week.
