GoodFuel: Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 cup canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 cup cold water, or more if needed
Directions
- Place the ingredients, except the chickpeas into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add chickpeas. Process for 3-4 minutes. Pause and scrape the sides down halfway.
- Continue until the hummus is smooth. If the consistency is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time.
- Taste and season with additional salt, cumin, and/or lemon juice if needed.
- Serve immediately, garnished with your desired toppings. Store in refrigerate for up to 3 days.
- Enjoy!
